"It was made with love; I'm sure it tastes wonderful," Sookie says, lightly coaxing the pie from his hands and easily nudging the door closed with the heel of her foot. She tilts her head to invite him further inside.
While she hasn't been in the city quite enough to bring in all of the little accents she needs to make it home, Sookie's gone all out with the furniture. To a certain extent, it feels like a safe investment to make; for someone who wants to eventually move into a house, to be able to transplant so much of her home helps her be less afraid of being boxed in such a crowded building.
"And don't worry about calling ahead of time; I'm just glad that I was here and not working. You know, back in Bon Temps, everyone would stop by each other's houses without warning," continues Sookie, placing the pie neatly in the center of the dining table and tugging a chair out for Will to sit in, before turning on her heel to step into the kitchen area, searching for a knife, forks, plates, and checking to make sure the sweet tea in her fridge was a decent temperature. "How have you been feeling, by the way? You look like you're doin' so much better than the last time we saw each other."
