Even though Sookie's name is listed in the public directory, she doesn't expect visitors. There are some people from work who have stopped by her apartment, and Jason and Lafayette certainly stop by regularly, but there aren't any new friends that Sookie would consider constant enough for a random visit. Carefully padding through her apartment, Sookie keeps her ears open as she approaches the door, heart pounding before recognition finally dawns.
Quickly turning on a few of the lights in the apartment to add to the muted sunshine from an overcast sky, Sookie unlocks her door and smiles widely.
"Will!" she exclaims, stepping forward to kiss his cheek. "Oh, it's so good to see you! I didn't know you were comin' — and, oh my gosh." She presses a hand to her chest, gaze falling on the pie. "Is that to share? Come in, please."
